Privacy policy

Mobius (“we”, “us”) is a personal AI assistant that works over WhatsApp, operated by Snowpex. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we store what you ask us to store, we don't sell your data, and you can delete everything at any time.

What we collect

• Your WhatsApp number and display name — this is how the service identifies you.
• Messages you send to Mobius — text, voice notes, images and documents, since the assistant has to read them to help.
• Things you ask us to keep — reminders, notes, to-dos, lists, expenses and saved articles.
• Service metrics — counts of AI usage (tokens, model, purpose) per account, used for cost monitoring and abuse prevention.

We do not collect your WhatsApp contacts, your other chats, your location, or anything outside the conversation you have with Mobius.

How your messages are processed

Mobius is an AI assistant, so generating a reply means processing your message with AI systems:

• Textis processed by DeepSeek's API to understand and answer.
• Images and PDF documentsyou send are processed by OpenAI's API to read their contents.
• Voice notes are transcribed on our own servers — the audio does not leave our infrastructure.
• Web searches run through our own self-hosted search engine; your identity is not attached to the queries sent to search providers.
• Message delivery happens over the WhatsApp Business Platform, so Meta processes messages as any WhatsApp message — Meta's own terms and privacy policy also apply.

Storage and retention

• Saved items (reminders, notes, lists, expenses, reading list) are stored in our database, hosted on our own servers, until you delete them or ask us to.
• Recent conversation context is kept briefly (about 7 days) so the assistant can handle follow-ups, then expires automatically.
• Voice-note audio is deleted immediately after transcription.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
• We don't train AI models on your data.
• We don't share your data with anyone except the processors named above, and only to provide the service itself.

Your rights

You can ask Mobius to delete individual items or your entire data in chat, or email us at business@snowpex.com to request a copy of your data or full erasure. We respond within 7 days.

Age

Mobius is intended for users aged 13 and above (or the minimum age required to use WhatsApp in your country, if higher).

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll note the new date at the top of this page and, where practical, tell you in chat.
